BAWDESWELL COMMUNITY PRIMARY SCHOOL

SCHOOL LINK BOOK SALES  The school year of 2004-2005 has been another successful one in this scheme to get free books for the school library.  We sent in orders from five different catalogues through the year, and each time had sufficient orders to exceed the £100 minimum which qualifies us for free delivery – and a free set of books for the school. 

For every £10 spent, the school is also given £1in vouchers.  This year we have earned £79.10.  At school link prices, this has allowed our teachers to choose six sets of reading books, and seven large reference books, as well as the five free sets of books.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this worthwhile venture.  We will continue to work with the school link people this coming year.  More free books for the school library – and more cheap books for all of us!!  Mrs Thea Horner.

FIRST AID COURSE   We are looking to put on a First Aid Training course in school for staff to be run by St John Ambulance.  Would you be interested in the training for yourself?

If you would like further information or would like to take up a place on the course, please call into the office as soon as possible to register your interest.  The cost of the course is £20.00 for a half day.

NATIVITY   Our reception children will be performing their nativity for the parents on Tuesday 13th December at 9.00am

CAROL SERVICE  This years church service will be held on Friday 16th December at 1.30pm.  All welcome,
