BAWDESWELL PARISH COUNCIL-EXTRACTS OF MEETING HELD ON MONDAY 3RD OCTOBER 2005 at 7.30pm. IN THE VILLAGE HALL
PRESENT:  Councillor’s Hind, Mallen, Swain, McColville and Wallace
Mrs. I.Floering Blackman (CC).  Mr. G. Bambridge (DC).  15 parishioners

MINUTES OF LAST MEETING:  Agreed and signed
MATTERS ARISING
-Rural Transport – update on July meeting not yet received from Nicki Park NCC.
- Clay Hall Farm, Lenwade – Composting/Rendering Plant PA – Councillor Bambridge stated that NCC are to set up date for formal hearing as questions have been raised about  this PA (it is quoting 35,000 tonnes per year of feathers/green waste).
PLANNING:
-2 All Saints Court – PVCu conservatory- No Objections
-Land at Folland Court – A site meeting was held on Monday 19th September with Breckland Council at which it was revealed that Breckland had offered the land to a Housing Association as part of a larger package of land to be disposed of.   The PC agreed to continue to press for the land to remain as an open space and asked Gordon Bambridge to represent their views at the Breckland meeting which decides the disposal of the land. 

OLD WORKHOUSE BAR- Licensing Application heard by Breckland on 12th September-
All PP conditions to be enforced and Licence granted subject to following conditions:
1.  Live/recorded music, performance of dance shall not take place either outside or in the function room   2. The hours open to the public extended by 30 minutes per day to allow for drinking up period.  3. A Residual Current Device to be installed.   IF ANY PARISHIONER HAS ANY PROBLEMS/COMPLAINTS ABOUT DRINKING IN THE VILLAGE PLEASE REPORT THEM TO POLICE.

Youth Involvement/Activities for Teenagers – a member of Youth Service staff to be asked to a future PC meeting to advise on issues, opportunities and resources/grants/support available. (if anyone is interested please contact Clerk).

-Letter received from Parishioner requesting closure of Foxley Road/A1067 junction-it is totally impractical to close this road but the amount of traffic going along The Street is increasing in volume and size.  Clerk to contact NCC asking for Engineer to visit again to carryout thorough survey.
