FLEBBS Benefice News and Events

It was a busy time over the Easter period and how nice to see that the sun came out for all the events and services. 

May will be slightly less hectic with only three events in the diary.  These are:

11^th        Quiz and Chips Evening in aid of St Mary's Church, Sparham. 7.30 pm, The Old School Room, Sparham. Tickets £7 available from Mary Humphrey 01362 688449, Gill Page 01362 688379, Aleathia Mann 01362 688543.

12^th  ALL PREACHERS GREAT AND SMALL

A meaningful and amusing meander through the writings of several Norfolk clerical gentlemen from days gone by - Parson Woodforde of Weston Longville features strongly - plus assorted musical items, presented by Keith Skipper and friends.  The venue is St Margaret's Church, Lyng and the proceedings kick off at 7.30 pm on Saturday 12 May. Tickets are £7.50 each, including refreshments, and are available from Lyng Village Stores or by telephoning 01603 872185 or 01603 872173. Proceeds are for The Friends of St Margaret's Church.  Do please come and join us!

            17^th

            A Garden Lunch will be held at 5 Home Close, Lyng at 12.30 for 1pm.

The Street Farm Garden in Foxley opens on Tuesday 1^st May from 11am - 5pm

Entrance is £1.50 and toilet facilities and refreshments are available.  The garden will be open on the first Tuesday of each month until October.
