Bawdeswell Parochial Church Council

It was with great sadness that we heard of the death of Brian Winterbone at the end of January.  Brian had taught at Bawdeswell School for 37 years and will be fondly remembered by all his former pupils.  Brian also served on the Parochial Church Council and was treasurer for many years.  Although Brian and his wife Nora left the village a few years ago his funeral service was held at Bawdeswell and the church was filled to capacity with friends, family and former colleagues and pupils.

We have a team  of cleaners who help to keep the church clean and tidy throughout the year.  If anyone would like to join the team please contact Janet Cockburn on 01362 688749.  We are planning a “Spring Cleaning” morning on Wed 4^th April at 10am.  If you would like to join us please come along.  Likewise, if anyone would like to be on the Readers’ rota the contact number for that is Sandi Taylor 01362 688268.  Those willing to help with flowers can contact Sue Lilwall on 01362 688240.

The electoral roll is to be renewed this year.  Please look out for details on the church notice board if you wish to be included on the roll.
