Benefice News and Events

HAVE YOUR SAY:    This is for anybody who feels that they might go to church as well as those who do.

Service times are on a new pattern for a four month trial in all the churches in FLEBBS.  Details of the new pattern are shown on the grid elsewhere in this magazine.  Check out what is happening in your church.

The Church Wardens will have to discuss how the trial is going, and whether to continue it, in the middle of July.  If you have any comments at all, please can we have them in writing before 16 July so that they can be collated before the meeting?  Send on paper to David Head at the rectory, (Rectory Road, Lyng, NR9 5RA) .

All comments welcome - about bells, hymns, times of services, length, child-friendliness, etc, but especially about how the changes in the rota might possibly affect you.  Many thanks.

Another excellent men’s breakfast held at Sparham Old School Room had 28 attendees and raised the sum of £132.21 for The Benefice Youth Work.  Many thanks are due to the team of  cooks etc who did all the hard work.

There are quite a few events planned around the Benefice for this month of June.  Let’s hope that the recent good weather keeps up for any events that are to be held outdoors.
