Bawdeswell Village Hall
Bawdeswell Village hall is available
for hire by both parishioners and non residents. The basic hourly hire charge
is £7 inclusive of utilities with reduced rates for longer periods and special
rates for parishioners.
At present the hall is available
most weekdays during the day, Tuesday evening and some Wednesday evenings.
There are lots of Saturdays and Sundays still free. You can also hire
tables and chairs for you own events.
The Parish Council meet here at
7.30pm on the first Monday of the month except January & August. Where
there is a Bank Holiday the meeting is a week later.

Mondays - Aerobics at 7pm (6.30pm on
Parish Council dates); Thursdays - Weight Watchers at 7.00pm; Fridays -
Pilates at 7.00pm
RECENT
IMPROVEMENTS
A number of small improvements have
been carried out over the last few months. Some work has been done to improve
the driveway and more will be done in the summer. New wall cupboards have been
put up in the kitchen and the doors and draw fronts on the cabinets replaced to
match them. There is now a baby changing unit in the disabled WC. New PIR
controlled lights have been installed over the front door and for the recycling
area and an outside power supply has been put in for events on the field.
VILLAGE
HALL PAINTATHON – 6th & 7th MAY
A very, very big thank you to all those who came and helped
to clean and paint in the village hall. A lot was achieved although there is a
small amount still to be done over the next few weeks.
Bawdeswell Village Hall Annual Meeting
The Bawdeswell
Village Hall Annual Meeting will be held on Monday 19th June 2006 in
the Village Hall at 8pm. The village hall committee will be up for re-election.
We also need new members on the committee as there are not enough at present to
be effective and organize the events we would like to.
