FRIENDS OF BAWDESWELL CHURCH

Our main event this month is participation in the Grand Village Fete and Car Boot Sale on 26th June, and we look forward to seeing you all there.

The concert by the South Norfolk Choral Society and soloists in April was a huge success.  There were over forty members of the choir and the music from opera and stage shows, accompanied by keyboard and bass guitar was excellent. The church acoustics were superb.

We also were very privileged to have the violin soloist Alison Milne who played pieces from Massenet and Elgar, amongst other popular composers. She was  accompanied by Roger Rayner.

We were complemented on the quality of the entertainment.

BAWDESWELL BOOK CLUB

This continues to be held in the bar at 7.30 on the first Thursday of  the month.
Our choice for the June meeting is  " The Promise of Happiness " by
