The Patient Participation Group of Elmham Surgery are hoping to begin
a BEREAVEMENT
SUPPORT GROUP available
to people from the villages served by the Surgery Bereavement has been
described as "an unwelcome and difficult journey into unknown
territory" sometimes in families and sometimes alone. The journey is
helped when one person has the support of another. Most people feel that a
shared journey is safer than travelling alone. Such a
group would hope to provide a safe setting where the bereaved can meet
socially, share their experiences and feelings in bereavement with others, be
helped to cope with their loss and strengthened to go forward with their
lives. Anyone
interesting in helping with, or attending such a group are invited to a
meeting at the Elmham Surgery at 7.00 pm on Thursday 16th June 2005 |
