BAWDESWELL PARISH COUNCIL-EXTRACTS OF MEETING HELD ON MONDAY 5th JUNE 2006 AT 7.45pm IN THE VILLAGE HALL

MINUTES OF LAST MEETING: Agreed and signed
FOLLAND COURT: E-mail received from Laura Handford, Business Dev.Manager stating “PW not successful in attracting grant funding in order to bring Folland Court forward for re-development and are now looking at available options. PW meeting to be held to discuss further, also meeting Breckland DC in next couple of weeks or so in order to discuss the way forward. PW still keen to ensure PO is retained and current Folland Court site is brought forward for new family housing and they will investigate all alternatives. She will keep us up to date on situation.” PC to write to Martin Aust saying they are concerned to protect the green site and replace PO.
PLANNING:
-Wood Farm – Enforcement Officer to visit site to take photographs and investigate situation regarding vehicle storage unit for which PA has not been received
-2 PA’s received for Dale Farm Bungalow, 30 Reepham Road – erection of two storey dwelling and garage /demolition of existing dwelling and erection of house and garage. OPP was granted November 2003 for one dwelling only – PC objections also include bad bend/infilling/more affordable homes required not 4 bedroom houses/infrastructure.
-There were NO OBJECTIONS to the following- The Shetlands, Reepham Road – renewal of temporary PP for standing of mobile home and portacabin / Stable Cottage, Bell Inn Yard, The Street – store room extension /Maytree Cottage, 4 Church Close –single storey rear extension and new porch.
ANGLIAN WATER: Letters received showing Breckland DC to adopt sewers on behalf of AWA under Section 18 of the 1936 Public Health Act – letter to be sent to AWA asking them to amend files.
-20mph SPEED LIMIT – proposal received showing limit along The Street up to May Tree Farm – around Paradise Road/Folland Court/Blackhorse Close. Speed limit does not include School. PC accepted proposal and wait to see what happens about proposed mini roundabout outside School.
