How safe is your shed?

Many of us store expensive equipment in our sheds and yet don’t give a second thought to security.  Everyone should take precautions to protect their belongings by security marking their property, installing quality locks (BS3621) and other security measures. Serious thought should be given to fitting an intruder alarm - however this doesn’t have to be really expensive. If you are thinking of upgrading the security of your home or business, have a chat with a Police Architectural Liaison Officer for some free advice on 01953 424242.

Here at Breckland Council, we wish to encourage the reporting of crimes to the police and for you to improve your shed security. So if your shed has been broken into over the last 12 months, we are offering a free battery powered intruder alarm with an external siren. There is a limited supply, so it will be a case of first come first served, so bring in your form straight away!
