BAWDESWELL FOOTBALL CLUB.

(Crown Fire Central & South Norfolk League)

Bawdeswell FC is struggling a bit at the moment not having kept up their earlier promising performance. A 5:2 defeat by Toftwood Unites Reserves leaves them 3^rd from the bottom of Division 3 with 13 points from 12 games.

New players are needed for the team.

PLOUGHING MATCH

This was postponed in January due to the weather and is re-scheduled for Sunday 4^th February on land kindly loaned by Bawdeswell Farms Limited.  Some eighty ploughmen from all over the country have been invited to take part, with judges from Norfolk and other counties.  Points are awarded to the ploughmen in each class and a Champion of the Field trophy is awarded. MOBILE POLICE OFFICE

The Mobile Police Office will be in ‘The Street’ Bawdeswell 11am until 12.30pm every 4^th Thursday.

This is intended to provide a ‘visible’ police presence in the village. Please make sure that you visit

them if you have a problem or need information. Pop in and find out what’s happening in the area.

Future Dates for 2007 are

15^th February, 15^th March, 12^th April, 10^th May, 7^th June

This is a good facility for the village. If the police find that it is not being used then it will be withdrawn.
