COMMUNITY PRE-SCHOOL
We are a small and very friendly
group with twelve children currently attending and three members of staff.
The children thoroughly
enjoyed performing in the production ‘Whoops-a-Daisy Angel’ and I’m sure
their family and friends who attended would agree that a lovely time was
had by all. A big thank you to everyone involved in helping and to
all who attended.
This half term our topic
is ‘people who help us’. We are arranging a trip to Reepham Fire
Station. We will be receiving visits from a policewoman (who will be bringing
along a police car for the children to look at) and a representative from
the R.S.P.C.A.
Spaces available
The Pre-School is open Mon-Fri
from 9.00am to 12.00pm for age 2 years (by mutual agreement) to 4 ½
years.
There are currently spaces
available. If anyone is interested in reserving a space or would
like to arrange a visit please contact Tracey on 07990 963345.

Changes
to Staff
Welcome
to Mrs Oven who is covering maternity leave for Mrs Bates in the office.
Miss
Foucher is job sharing with Mrs Hallam in Class 4 to release Mrs Horner
for administration tasks. This arrangement is for one full term only.
Congratulations
Well
done Rebecca Smith for achieving a Merit Pass for her Grade 1 Clarinet
exam.
Tsunami
Disaster
Our
super mums organised a cake stall, raffle and a non-uniform day to collect
money for the above appeal, on Friday 14th January. We would all like to
say a big Thank You to everybody who supported our fundraising day .
We managed to raise £450.00. Without your help it wouldn’t
have been possible to raise that amount.
Class
2
During
the spring term, Class 2 will be learning about their local community,
past and present. In particular, we will be thinking about how farming
has changed in Bawdeswell and what it might have been like to attend Bawdeswell
School in years gone by. If you have any old photographs of Bawdeswell,
or any tales to tell, I would be very grateful to hear from you...
Many thanks, Anita Wilson.
