MINUTES OF LAST
MEETING; Agreed
and signed
-NCC Highways to paint white line on
the roadway outside Folland Court in The Street to
stop cars parking and making it impossible for parishioners to see to cross
road.
-Hall Road Notice Board to be taken
down and stored
PLANNING:
- Folland
Court PA now received -
demolition of sheltered housing and construction of 8 dwellings
for rental and erection of PO.
(Councillor Mallen declared an interest as he
is on PW Housing Assoc. Board)
Clerk spoken to all parishioners in close vicinity and they seemed
reasonably happy with plans. PC
accept in principle the building of these houses but have serious concerns about
dangerous bends into Paradise Road/ houses only having one parking
space/emergency vehicle access/ building of family homes adjacent to existing
bungalows for older people could cause friction within the community/PO too
close to Denver house window. Letters to be sent to Breckland and PW. Mr. Bambridge
would like parishioners to contact him if they have any problems with this
PA.
- PP granted to 5 Chaucer Close –
Fence.
- Clerk to query whether PP needed
for shed, hardcore drive, caravan on piece of land next to Bawdeswell
Heath.
- Anglian
Water still investigating our claims.
- Old Surveyors Land, Reepham
Road – work required on cutting
back trees along drive and at entrance - EDF contacted regarding electric lines
entangled in trees – NCC Highways have pumped out ditch and will be sending a
team of men to clear ditch.
- New salt/grit bin ordered for Hall
Road, litter bin for bus shelter and dog bin for Heath.
- Large Window at top of Hall broken
– quotes to be obtained for repair.
