FRIENDS OF THE SCHOOL

What’s happening?

The fundraising efforts of the Friends of Bawdeswell School currently focus on the need for a new library environment within school. Your help and support is always very welcome and much appreciated. We would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
¨ Friday 10th December – Kids School Disco to take place at school. £1.00 per child. Years R, 1 and 2 from 6.30 – 7.30 p.m. then years 3, 4, 5 and 6 from 7.30 – 8.30 p.m.
¨ Tuesday 14th December  – A nativity for parents. 
¨ Wednesday 15th December – A non-uniform day. All funds raised will be donated to charity. Theme for the day and designated charity to be determined by the children of the school council.
¨ Wednesday 15th December – Special Christmas dinner for the children of Bawdeswell School. 
¨ Friday 17th December – The usual school church service at 1.30 p.m. followed by the start of the Christmas holidays. 
¨ Wednesday 5th January – Return to school.
¨ Date to be established – A New and Second hand uniform sale to take place at school in the New Year.

Shop at major retailers using this website and the school receives a % income from the retailer.
Aprons decorated by the children available now. Adult and child sizes. A perfect keepsake for relatives.
100 club numbers are still available; prizes are still to be won. An ideal “little something” from the children.
Remember empty ink cartridges are still being collected and can be turned into money for school.

FRIENDS OF BAWDESWELL CHURCH 

We are holding a  Christmas Tree Festival the  weekend of 11th/12th December  and are looking for more sponsors and tree decorators.  Trees and decorations will be provided.  
Individuals, Clubs and Groups please come forward.

The Christmas Tea party and Concert will again feature the school choir along with professional singers.  Parents of participating children will be offered reduced-price tickets.  Please try and  come.  They enjoyed it a great deal last year.
 

100club renewal & 'thank you night' Saturday 22nd January will be held at Bawdeswell Hall by kind invitation of David and Jacquie Gurney.  Invitations will be sent out by The Friends Committee.
