JULIAN GROUP MEETINGS

26th November, 10th December, 7th January, 21st January,  4th February
Details from Irene Ames, opposite Bawdeswell Church.

The Only Song in Town.
Water chuckles,
tinkling and twinkling,
on sun-shiny stones,
framed by fuchsias ready to explode
and lance-like lilies
upthrust from the ruffled mirror,
drip-circled and circling,of their pool.

Water droplets,
fine enough to fly,
glide gracefully across the blue
moved by the wind
that lullabies the leaves,
hushes the tree-tops
and shakes the silent, hanging, ornamental bells
of flowers.

Plump pigeonsflutter and clutter,
call and coo.
Small birds start in a whirr of wings,
while bees pass,
flower to flower,
humming on their way.

Thus, music of the here and now
punctuates the day,
sings "Glory"
and praises God
by being.
