Friends of Bawdeswell Church

The Friends ran a White Elephant stall at the village fete and would like to thank everyone who contributed to the array of goods we had to sell and of course to those of you who came and bought them!

What an experience the Anniversary Concert was, in the church on July 15^th!

Hannah Francis raised the roof with her powerful voice and her accompanist Brian-Michael Parnell on James’ upright Grand Piano gave a masterly performance. The acoustics of the church were perfect. Hope you too enjoyed the evening.

The next main event will be the Ceilidh and Harvest Supper to be held this year at Reepham High School. It is a pity that the village hall is not really suitable for such an event and reluctantly we have had to change the venue. However, be assured it will still be a great evening of lively dancing to a caller from the Bric a Brac Band (the Norfolk Wherries have retired but the leader of Bric a Brac played for them and we know him of old) and of course the usual magnificent hog roast and home made puddings.
