Wrapped up in our own discontent,
We are blind to the beauty around.
Weary and burdened we trudge through each day, 
Longing for meaning, longing for rest.
God's heart breaks as He watches our struggles.
Arms open wide He invites us to trust;
From the centre of His pain hope is reborn.
Our eyes and ears are opened to endless possibilities. 
One step at a time the future unfolds.
Hand and hand with God there is comfort,
There is joy even through pain.
Hand and hand with God we can offer hope to the world.
