BAWDESWELL COMMUNITY PRIMARY SCHOOL

GROUNDS DEVELOPMENT  - We have had  a few changes outside.  We have had new play equipment in the form of a new pirate ship and ½ trim trail installed.  We have also had work on the woods making it more safe and accessible.  There will be areas for children and conservation areas to encourage wildlife.

AFTER SCHOOL CLUB FACILITIES - Bawdeswell Primary school has strong links with the Reepham Rascals.  It is a registered charity, registered with Ofsted and offers a Breakfast Club, After School Club and Holiday Playscheme for Staff Training days and Holidays.  Children are escorted from Bawdeswell School via mini bus and travel to the After School Club premises at Reepham Primary School.
The Breakfast Club is open from 7.45am each day offering a healthy breakfast before starting school.   The After School Club is open until 6pm each weekday and the Playscheme hours during holidays are 8am to 6pm.

THE FRIENDS OF
BAWDESWELL C. P. SCHOOL

Best Dressed Kids

We start by thanking Pre-school for the very good craft fair which they hosted on the 13th March. There were plenty of interesting and beautiful stalls to see and, of course, the weather was fantastic so a good percentage of the village came for a browse. The Friends of the school were invited to run the cake stall; all funds raised from this stall were donated to the school library appeal.

With spring now undoubtedly in bloom and summer only round the corner, the next event organised is a Children’s Fashion Show, to take place at the village hall on Friday 13th May from 6.00p.m. Tickets will be on sale late April, early May from the school and the village shop.
We are anticipating this to be fun evening, not only will there be the opportunity to see some bright cheerful colours for the summer, but with parental permission we are hoping to use children from school to do a spot of modelling. So there should be plenty of familiar faces within the show.

And finally the 100 club run by the Friends of School is still the most successful fundraiser. However there are numbers available for sale, and with them the opportunity of cash Firstly can prizes every month. Please contact Sally Swan on 01362

WEATHER REPORTS

“The weather will be warm today,
Sunny, fine and bright.”

I poker my head outside the door.
The weather man was right.

“The weather will be wet today,
With rainy April showers.”

I put my new umbrella up. And walked about for hours.
