BAWDESWELL PARISH COUNCIL- EXTRACTS OF MEETING HELD ON MONDAY 7th OCTOBER  2002 at 7.30pm. IN  THE VILLAGE HALL

PRESENT:    Councilors Battley(Chairman)Clarke, Cunliffe, Farthing, Hind, Lilwall and Smith.    Mr. J. Mallen(DC)  .  4 Parishioners
MINUTES OF LAST MEETING:   Agreed and signed
PC Responsibility for Village Hall -  Copy of legal documents sent to Veronica Savage, Village Halls Assoc. no reply received by time of meeting.   Clerk to write to Charity Commission to ask for copy of original document of registration.
PLANNING APPLICATIONS:
- Church View, The Street - rebuilding of existing shed - NO OBJECTIONS.
(this PA was in place of one for conversion of existing outbuilding as it was found that the buildings were in too bad a state of repair and would have to be completely rebuilt)
-PP granted to - 2 Bell Close, Extension to dwelling
- PP was refused for The Old Rectory, Foxley Road - erection of cottage and garage as it is outside settlement boundaries 
- The Paddocks, Reepham Road - nothing further received from Breckland although it is understood that this has been sold and  new owner has agreed to comply with all conditions .
-The Old Workhouse - still awaiting clarification from Breckland.

Freedom of Information Act - details circulated to all Councilors - awaiting model scheme for Councils to adopt from NCAPTC before agreeing.
- Several requests for ''doggie bins'' Clerk to obtain prices.
- It has been reported that rubbish has been dumped in Heath car park and other areas - Clerk to contact authorities.
- Bottle Bank - request was made for this to be emptied three weeks ago - Clerk to ask for this to be done on regular basis.
- Clerk instructed to write to Lilwall Farms and Bawdeswell Farms asking them to reinstate the footpath between Jotts Lane and Elsing Lane.

DATE OF NEXT MEETING IS 4TH NOVEMBER AT 7.30 PM IN THE VILLAGE HALL - ALL PARISHIONERS ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND.
 

BAWDESWELL PAPER BANK - now that everyone is using new recycling bins would Parishioners please still remember to put all newspapers/paper/magazines etc, in paper bank on recreation field.   All monies (£33 per tonne) received from NCC is given to the Village Hall to enable Committee to maintain/improve Hall and its facilities.
